Hier werden verschiedene Programmtipps angezeigt. Um die Tipps auszuschalten, kclicke links auf das schwarze X. ▄ber den Menⁿpunkt "View" kannst Du die Tipps wieder einschalten.
; About Profiles
;Second Copy maintains information about "what to copy", "where to copy" and "when to copy" in a "Profile".
Second Copy verwaltet die Informationen ⁿber "was kopieren", "wohin kopieren" und "wann kopieren" in einem "Profil".
;Second Copy compares files in the source and destination folders and compares their timestamps to see which files have changed. Then it copies only the new or changed files.
Second Copy vergleicht Dateien im Quell- und Zielverzeichnis anhand von Datum und Zeit, um VerΣnderungen festzustellen. Dann kopiert es nur die neuen oder geΣnderten Dateien.
;Click the Show Log button or select Log from the View menu to see Second Copy log.
Klicke auf "Show Log" im Menⁿpunkt "View", um die Logdatei von Second Copy anzuzeigen.
;If there was an error during the last copy process you will see a red E on the profile icon. It will get reset next time the profile completes successfully.
Falls es bei dem letzten Kopierprozess einen Fehler gab, siehst Du ein rotes E auf dem Profil-Icon. Bei dem nΣchsten erfolgreichen Kopierprozess dieses Profils wird es zurⁿckgesetzt.
;To reset an error icon, right click on a profile and select Reset error flag.
Um ein Fehler-Icon zurⁿckzusetzen, klicke mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Profil und wΣhle "Reset error flag" aus.
;You can drag and drop files and folders from Explorer to create a new profile.
Du kannst per "Drag und Drop" Dateien und Verzeichnisse aus dem Explorer in Second Copy holen, um eine neues Profil zu erstellen.
;Click right mouse button on a profile to see menu options.
Klicke mit der rechten Maustaste auf ein Profil, um die Menⁿoptionen zu sehen.
;You can save space by compressing files. Select Custom setup and go to the "How" page to set the options.
Mit dem Packen von Dateien kannst Du Platz sparen. WΣhle "Custom Setup" und gehe auf die Seite "How", um die Optionen einszustellen.
;To temporarily disable a periodic profile, right click on it and set it to manual. To resume schedule, right click on the profile again and uncheck the manual flag.
Um vorⁿbergehend ein regelmΣ▀iges Profil auszuschalten, klicke mit der rechten Maustaste darauf und wΣhle "Manual schedule" aus dem Menⁿ. Um es wieder zu aktivieren, klicke mit der rechten Maustaste darauf und nimm im Menⁿ das HΣkchen vor "Manual schedule" weg.
;To exit Second Copy, right click on the icon in system tray and select Exit.
Um Second Copy zu beenden, klicke mit der rechten Maustaste auf das Symbol in der Task-Leiste und wΣhle "Exit".

Halte die Maus ⁿber die Fortschrittsanzeige, um in der Statusleiste die gerade kopierte Datei anzuzeigen.

;You can save older versions of files in an Archive folder if you are not using compression. Go to the "How" page of the profile wizard to define a location.
Du kannst Σltere Versionen von Dateien in einem Archivverzeichnis speichern, wenn Du nicht die "Compression" verwendest. Gehe auf die Seite "How" des Profil-Wizards, um das Zielverzeichnis festzulegen.
;To view details of all profiles in the main window click the Details button on the toolbar.
Um Details aller Profile im Hauptfenster anzuzeigen, klicke auf den Button "Details" in der Toolbar (Werkzeugleiste).
;You can separate your backups by days, weeks, etc. by using the Directory Macro Expansion feature of Second Copy.
Du kannst Deine Backups nach dem Tag, der Woche usw. trennen, indem Du die "Directory Macro Expansion" Funktion von Second Copy verwendest (Datum im Verzeichnisnamen...).
;For incremental backups turn on archive bit option on the Advanced Properties page.

;You can organize profiles by category in profile groups.
Mit den Profilgruppen kannst Du Deine Profile kategorisieren.
;To create a new profile group, right click on the (All Profiles) tab and select New Profile Group.
Um eine neue Profilgruppe zu estellen, klicke mit der rechten Maustaste auf die Registrierkarte (All Categories) und wΣhle "New Profile Group" aus.
;Profile groups are listed as tabs after (All Profiles) tab.
Profilgruppen werden als Registrierkarten nach (All Profiles) aufgelistet.
;You can set the order of profile groups by right clicking on any of the profile group tab and selecting Reorder Tabs.
Du kannst die Reihenfolge der Profilgruppen Σndern, indem Du mit der rechten Maustaste auf eine beliebige Registrierkarte der Profilgruppen klickst und im Menⁿ "Reorder Tabs" auswΣhlst.
;You can set the position of profile groups tabs by right clicking on any of the profile group tab and selecting Tab Position.
Du kannst den Platz der Profilgruppen-Karten Σndern, indem Du mit der rechten Maustaste auf eine beliebige Registrierkarte der Profilgruppen klickst und im Menⁿ "Tab Position" auswΣhlst.

;To set the size of the log file, select Edit | Options, and on the General tab type the desired size of the log file in kilobytes.
